At mein-naturstein24.de, the quality of our products is just as important to us as reliable delivery. Our natural stones are specially selected and processed for your needs, which requires a certain amount of time to ensure the highest quality.

Custom manufacturing and bespoke production:
Depending on the type of natural stone and the requirements for your project, it is necessary to cut and process the stone precisely to size. This takes time to ensure that every detail is perfectly executed.
Selection and inspection of stones:
Each stone is carefully selected to ensure that it meets our high-quality standards. This means that for each project, we only source the best stones from our selected quarries, which can make the entire process take a little more time.
Transport and delivery (slabs):
We source our natural stones from various quarries worldwide. This may require longer transport routes, especially for larger or customized orders.
Processing and packaging:
The stones are professionally processed and securely packaged in our workshop; we also manufacture individually according to your wishes, and we also produce a wooden transport frame for each order to deliver them to you undamaged. This ensures that you receive your order in perfect condition.

How are shipping costs calculated?
The shipping costs in our online shop are made up of various factors that are necessary to deliver your order to you safely and in the best quality. These include:
Production costs of the transport frame:
Since natural stones are generally very heavy and delicate, shipping requires special and secure packaging. The costs for the transport frame include both the material needed for stable packaging (e.g., wood, special foils, cushioning materials) and the labor (wages) to manufacture the frame and properly secure the stones within it. This ensures that your delivery will not be damaged during transport.
Freight forwarding costs:
The transport costs for shipping the natural stones are an essential part of the shipping costs. These costs vary depending on the distance and type of transport. We work with renowned freight forwarders to ensure reliable delivery.
Insurance:
Since natural stones are valuable and delicate, every delivery from us is fully insured. This insurance protects both you and us in the event of transport damage and ensures that you receive the full value of your order reimbursed in such a case. For this, you must check the goods for damage upon delivery.
Notification and Communication
In addition to the pure transport costs, there are also costs for notifying you of the delivery. These include prior notification of the delivery date and timely coordination with you as the customer, so that you can personally receive your delivery. Notification is particularly important as it helps to coordinate delivery dates and avoid unnecessary delays or misunderstandings.

Can you also incorporate drill holes?
Yes, of course we can incorporate a bore into your workpiece. Unfortunately, our configurator is not yet able to offer this function directly. If you require a bore, please feel free to contact us via email, Business WhatsApp, or phone. Our team will be happy to assist you and ensure that your individual wishes are implemented.
What is edge processing?
Edge finishing refers to the process of further treating the cut edge of a material, such as natural stone or a slab, after sawing. This is done to match the edge both visually and tactilely to the chosen surface of the workpiece.
In detail, this means:
Grinding: The cut edge is treated with abrasives to achieve a smooth, even surface. This removes rough edges and ensures a uniform texture.
Polishing: After grinding, the edge can be further polished to achieve a shiny, mirror-like effect. This ensures that the edge has a similar appearance to the entire surface (polished).
Chamfering: Here, the top and bottom edges are beveled to achieve a softer, more pleasant feel and avoid sharp edges.
The goal of edge finishing is for the cut edge to have the same look and feel as the rest of the workpiece surface, which ensures a harmonious and high-quality overall appearance. Edge finishing plays an essential role in refining the product and contributes to its aesthetic and functional quality.
What happens after I place an order?
The process after your order is as follows:
1.1. Custom production according to your wishes
Upon receipt of your order, we will begin custom production of your natural stone product, entirely according to your wishes and specifications.
1.2. Packaging and protective measures
Once production is complete, the goods are carefully packaged. Depending on the product, a special wooden frame is built to ensure safe shipping and prevent transport damage.
1.3. Customer contact
We will contact you personally (email/phone) and clarify further shipping details together.
1.4. Notification to the forwarding agent
After production and packaging, we will notify the responsible forwarding agent so that shipping can be prepared.
1.5. Shipping confirmation by email
Once your order has been handed over to the forwarding agent, you will receive an email informing you that your goods are on their way to you.
1.6. Delivery time
Delivery of your order usually takes 3-5 days if the goods are transported as consolidated freight. However, this depends on availability and the destination.
1.6. Appointment with the forwarding agent
Before final delivery, the forwarding agent will contact you by phone or email to arrange a suitable delivery date.
The delivery time from order to delivery is usually approx. 28 working days.
What happens if I'm not home during the delivery?
If you are not at home for delivery, the shipping company will arrange a new delivery date with you. We recommend confirming the delivery date in good time to avoid unnecessary delays and additional costs. (Delays caused by the customer may result in storage costs.) Please do not arrange for delivery without a person present to inspect and accept the goods.
What are the shipping options?
We deliver exclusively through our freight forwarding partner, who may pass on the order to additional subcontractors. All shipping costs are displayed during the order process.
What happens if the goods arrive damaged?
If your goods arrive damaged, please report it immediately in the presence of the forwarding agent and also inform us. Please note the damage on the forwarder's transport document. We will arrange a quick solution and, if necessary, a replacement delivery.
