The company was originally founded in 1980 by Heinrich Löchtermann. He laid the foundation for building a successful business selling and installing wall and floor tiles.

In 1995, he expanded the company further in order to be able to include the natural stone product division in the range. This meant that he could offer customers the processing, cutting and laying of natural stone products. The company was then expanded again in 2005 and gravestones and the associated accessories were added to the range.

To hand over knowledge

Since 2006, the youngest daughter Lisa Handel (née Löchtermann), now a tile, slab and mosaic layer, office clerk and business economist in the craft industry, has been working in the company.

In spring 2018, the tile department with exhibition space of 500 m² was sold and the company was re-founded, specializing in natural stone and gravestones.
